I only hope when I die, I can come back to be a bear at Bearadise Ranch. The Weldes go above and beyond for their animals and it shows. Great educational programs, great enrichment, and enclosures are AWESOME!!! They are a blessing to all bears!
Great People, very open. No problem taking photos. Seemed a little hesitant at first but when she understood that we had no hidden motive to attempt to take her bears away they were quite welcoming, despite the fact that they were, in fact, closed the day that we visited. Anyone who believes that these animals are any way mistreated is wrong.
Wonderful and beautiful place, There Bears are well taken care of and very happy!!! This place would be on my top 1 to do if your in the area...GREAT FAMILY FUN!!! Just make sure the hate group PETA stays away and out of our last remaining animal sanctuaries they lie about things they have no understanding about and they just flat out like to ruin lives and family history.
Bearadise Ranch, and the amazing family who dedicate their lives to the animals who live there, is one of the most inspiring places I've ever been! To see and experience the bond of love and mutual respect that the bears share with their humans is exactly the kind of positive modeling we need for future generations to learn about and learn to love animals. I can't recommend Bearadise Ranch more highly!
A thrill a minute if you long for the days before emancipation. Modern day slavery is alive and well here. Whatever you do - don't attempt to film or photograph- their security will sweep on you faster than you can imagine. Move along people - nothing to see here..
